HOW I MANAGED STRESS

By Omugbe prisca - May 13, 2018

Happy Sunday fam and happy new week. Hope last week was great? Mine was so stressful but still grateful to God, I would say it was my most stressful week this year. I had lots of target 🎯 to meet up with, my clients where just on me coupled with work in the office. It was too demanding and at some point I was almost losing out. But here was how I handled it.

1. I had to pray about it, asking God to help me. I also came across Joyce Meyers 14 days of less stress and it's been of a great help to me.

2. I had to draft out all that was on my mind, and decided to execute them based on heiracy of importance.

3. I had to take a break to do some things I really loved doing and sincerely I felt better.

4. I also shared my feelings with a good friend of mine, and I got really great feedback.

5. I also held on to this quote I came across by Lou Holtz it states "it's not the load that breaks you down, it's the way you carry it"

I learnt that, I was beginning to face the reality of life. Life is full of stress but it's your approach to it that matters. You can allow it breaks you or make you.

Have you ever been crazily stressed out? You could share your views.

Well mine was while I was at work I had a deliverable and it seemed really overwhelming and at the same time I wanted to pursue some personal stuff I was really confused but then I prayed and talked to my aunt and relied on the Holy Spirit to help me and soon it was as if I knew how to do everything

  6. Inability to manage stress, can be very disastrous, sometime even lead to dead.

It's one thing to know how to manage stress, it's another thing to recognise stress and things that causes them.
that's why it's difficult for some people to manage stress, because some dont even know when they are been stressed out. It begin with recognising a problem and things that cause them, before we can be able to solve the problem.
I believe, one of those things that we need to do when going through stress, is to think right (positive ).thinking about things that make us happy is one of the best way to get through stress.because stress don't only break us, it sometime help build us up,▪by making us do things we can't do before. ▪improve the way we think and feel.

My week was a stressful one. Without going into details I decided to tag it a wonderful week, because I discover in the midst of all the stress, I learned some new things.
    THanks for this piece.🖒
