FORGE AHEAD

By Omugbe prisca - June 10, 2018

These days I have been getting really emotional, about parting with my guys. I have been With them now, for a couple of months and it's been so so amazingggg! 😂😄.

For me, I really don't get so emotional about parting with Close pals but I feel the space when am far apart. Hope am not weird 🤦, who is with me in this please🙋but I guess am growing up emotionally😂💃💃.

Sometimes it's really hard to let go and forge ahead.  We always want to look backwards rather than looking forward, but remember, the future is what really matters.

We have to stop making reference to the past, pick the lessons from it and forge ahead. You don't have the power to change the past but you have the power to surely change the future. For those great people you met, cherish them and for those that hurt you forgive them.

From macandangel.com, "you can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one"

Have you been scared of taking a decision?

Have you been hurt and you never want to let go?

Are you still in that position because the people you love and care about are all there?

You have to forge ahead my dear friend.

  3. The past make us what we are but do not make it a burden.
Come unto me all ye that are heavy burden and I will give you rest. The essence of that call is not the burden but Progress. As soon as He take the burden the next thing is to forge ahead because with those load you can forge ahead.
So, I leave you with this song:
Lay down your burden at the altar, cast all your cares upon the Lord.....

  5. Wonderful write up, but I want my comment to be out of the box making reference from our own country Nigeria during using our past administration is far better then now but I still believe in the future. I refuse to make my comment emotional and to the blogger I stand to be corrected...
