Sometimes life could be very discouraging, frustrating and all you just feel like doing is quitting and just never grow up. But the sad thing is that life won’t even give you a second thought, whether you want to grow up or not, the time is still hurriedly running round the circle and seconds are turning into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days, days into months and months into years. Sometimes I wish time and life could be a respecter of person lol 😁 don’t mind me jare.

I recall the school I finished from where I had everything within my reach. There was really no excuse for failure and I am so glad I properly utilized every opportunity.

In my final year, my lecturers will always say that “the world out there is not easy”, “you have to hold on to God, be dedicated and determined to succeed”. I took them seriously but I never really understood what they meant not until my NYSC period which I would call “Introduction to Reality” (IR111) lol 😀. There were still free #19800, free cash flowing in from PPA without much work and cash from home (once in a while when am terribly broke).


Reality properly dawned on me after the kofa’s life, which was what I was popularly called when serving in Niger State lol see my NYSC experience . Everyday life presents me with new challenges and opportunities. At some point I was tired, I wanted to quit and felt like never growing up. All I was doing was practically complaining about everything, life was hitting me so hard. I just had to give myself a sincere talk because complaining won’t change anything. I held on more to God’s word, which gave me so much courage to face life fiercely. I never knew this was how adulthood was, though it’s been adventurous.

Most of my favourite quote started to dawn on me; I began to understand their true meaning. These quotes are; “no pain, no gain”, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going”, “when life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life you have a 1000 reasons to smile”, and lots more. What’s your favourite quote?


I have experienced moments of being lonely even when I got lots of people around me, moments of being lost in my deep thoughts, moments of being very rich (being broke to zero, no jokes but God always just shows up). I have realized the only way to staying tuned is holding on to God’s word; his word is so comforting and filled with courage, surround yourself with positive people who believe in your dreams and personal determination to succeed must not be left out.

I am learning to take life easy and enjoy every bit of the process. The process is what makes the story of success sweet and I also choose never to get overwhelmed by my big dreams. Do you know Joseph? He is my immediate elder brother lol.

Success is a process and that process is not EASY, so many people will quit but I choose never to quit. Who is with me in this 🙋?
